Tribute Gifts
Tribute Gift to the Alliance on Aging is the perfect way to lift up someone special who has made a difference in your life and support the Alliance at the same time.

Our Work

The work of the Alliance on Aging focuses on two primary areas of critical importance to "growing older" adults and their family:  Caregiving and Transportation.

Caregiving
Our caregiving program, Kansas City Partnership for Caregivers, has worked since 2004 to strengthen and support caregivers of older adults through connections to education and resources.

Our vision for the future is to continue to provide education and resources for the growing numbers of caregivers in our greater metropolitan Kansas City region.

   Community Preparedness on Aging

The Community Preparedness on Aging was a two-year effort by the Alliance on Aging (then the Foundation on Aging) which was released in February, 2007.

The study was one of the principal pieces of work in the Kansas City region that began to raise awareness about the impact the "graying" of our community will have for all of us in Kansas City.  Please read  the Full Report or the Executive Summary.

This project was made possible by support from Congressman Dennis Moore.

This project is supported, in part, by a grant, No. 2 90AM292201, from the Administration on Aging, Department of Health and Human Services.
